Have you noticed why we seem to put on a few extra kilos on during winter? It always seems harder to get out of bed to hit the gym in the morning.. and even harder to skip those comfort foods when it's freezing outside. Technically it should be easier to lose weight in Winter because our bodies have to burn more calories to keep us warm.
Unfortunately , we tend to want to curl up in bed for longer and eat lots of hearty meals because it feels colder to be hungry.
I am still trying to work off the weight i have gained from last Winter. So my goal this Winter is to not indulge in my lazy ways.... eat alternative healthier hearty meals- ie veggie soups & curries and doing some form of exercise everyday no matter what !
